Come hang out, I won't bite

I’m staying in hermit mode for most of this week, trying to knock out as much work on The Ice Queens as possible. But I wanted to pop into your inbox real quick to let you know about two upcoming events.

First: The Favorites is the latest pick for Block Club Chicago’s book club, and next Monday May 4th I’ll be in conversation with Block Club’s Gwen Ihnat at Jarvis Square Tavern, which is in my beloved neighborhood of Rogers Park. Tickets are available here ($10 for entry + your first drink, or $25 if you want a paperback copy too).

Second: I’m road-tripping to Indiana this July to help Ashley Winstead (one of my favorite authors and human beings 🖤) launch her latest thriller, the impeccably titled Hot Girl Murder Club. Catch us on Monday July 13th at The Historic Artcraft Theatre in Franklin, Indiana, talking about hot girl shit like murder, revenge, and probably that busted-ass man cheating on actual goddess Megan Thee Stallion cause I am certain I will still be raging about that in July!!

Tickets are $34 and include a copy of Ashley’s book from Wild Geese Bookshop. They’ll have copies of my books on hand too, and Ashley and I will both be signing.
