I became ice dancing obsessed thanks to The Favorites and it has been SO FUN watching the Olympics this season. Thank you for gracing us with more Olympic content 🙏
I too was living for the French to fail and was totally gobsmacked at the results. I was blown away by the Canadians’ Vincent performance and the emotion behind it only to be followed up by Chock/Bates perfect their “paint it black” routine. When the French messed up I was LOUD in my living room with excitement and could not believe they edged out gold! I confess to being a vibes-based fan > technicality so maybe the difficulty saved them but I was so unmoved by them on the ice and outraged by them off of it. Even the commentators had nothing positive to say about them except their short time together.
Ps: living for the Scott Moir shoutout! Virtue/Moir got me into ice dance and I’ve yet to see a pair match their chemistry!! Glad to know he’s coaching cause teen me was in love with the concept of him
I knew he found Jesus or whatever years ago, but he really stepped up the repugnant political opinions post-retirement. Always love seeing Madi’s mom arguing with him in his IG comments, though! 🍿
no bc i am SCARED of the French gold tonight 😭 i adore Fear/Gibson’s Free program so really hoping that FB/C have a disaster and tumble down the standings, Piper/Paul move up to silver and F/G steal bronze 🤭 also i love the question about which current team is most Kat and Heath coded, i need to reflect on this deeply hahaha
